How can I tell if I am Being Bullied?
Signs that you are being bullied:
- You don't want to go to school
- You feel anxious and scared
- You feel bad about yourself
- You have physical symptoms like being tired or getting headaches
- You are less interested in doing things
- You have trouble sleeping
- You are not doing as well in school as you used to
- You are thinking about hurting yourself or others
How to respond:
Bullying is NEVER okay.
- If possible, make sure the bully knows that their actions are not welcome, and that you want them to stop
- Getting back at the bully is not a good solution, it can also be very dangerous.
- Report to a parent, teacher, or adult that you trust
- Stay away from isolated areas, and stay in public places
- Try to participate in activities that will boost your self-confidence. Just acting confident can be enough to scare off a bully.
- Create a safety plan: identify your safe areas, identify safe people, have check-in times and spots, and know how you want to react to the bully if a confrontation does occur
- Do something! Not saying or doing anything will let the bully continue their behaviour.
How to get support:

When talking to an adult about bullying try to:
