When you arrive please tell the receptionist you are visiting the Ottawa Public Health Youth Sexual Health Clinic. Services offered at the main Sexual Health Clinic are available at the Youth Clinics except for IUD/IUS insertions, anonymous HIV testing, and Point of Care (rapid) HIV testing. (Confidential HIV testing is available at the Youth Sexual Health Clinics). Please note: Due to high demand at our walk-in clinics, we may not be able to see everyone.

Gay ZONE provides a wide range of programs and services for gay, bi, trans-men, and other men who have sex with men in the Ottawa area, including:

What we offer
- Information on STBBIs (sexually transmitted and blood borne infections) and contraception
- Free testing and treatment for STBBIs
- Confidential or anonymous HIV testing
- Emergency contraception
- Affordable contraception (for those who qualify)
- IUD/IUS insertion (by appointment only at main clinic)
- Pregnancy testing and information about options
- Hepatitis A & B immunization (for those who qualify)
- Vaccine against human papillomavirus (HPV) (for those who qualify)
- Free condoms
What we don't offer
- Blood work for herpes or pregnancy
- Diagnose or treat urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Diagnose or treat pain, sores, or bumps in the mouth or throat including cold sores.
- Diagnose or treat scabies, crabs, or lice
- Diagnose or treat sexual dysfunction (erection and arousal difficulties, timing of ejaculation, low libido)
- Diagnose or treat fertility, miscarriage, or menopause
For services not provided, see your Family Physician or go to a Walk-In Clinic. In the case of an emergency, go to the nearest hospital.

Unprotected sex within the last 5 days: clinic staff can provide emergency contraception ("morning after pill" [Plan B]). Emergency contraception can be given to you during your visit or purchased for future use. Prescriptions for the HPV vaccine are also available. The HPV vaccine protects against genital warts and cervical cancer in women, and genital warts and anal cancer in men. You must purchase the HPV vaccine at a pharmacy and bring the vaccine to the clinic. Speak with a health care provider to see if you qualify for a free vaccine. Anonymous HIV testing in Ottawa
