What can I expect during my visit?

Registration:  At arrival please provide your name, date of birth and contact information. Information provided is confidential.

Wait Times:  Since this is a drop-in clinic, it is difficult for us to estimate how long you will have to wait. We do our best to see clients as quickly as possible.

Interview: The Health Care Provider will:

• Call you in the interview room by using the number your received at registration;
• Confirm your contact information and collect a brief medical and sexual history;
• Ask for the dates of your last two sexual experiences;
• Ask if you have any symptoms;
• Ask the dates of your last period and pap test;
• Order tests (if necessary);
• Discuss treatment options (if necessary);

No one will judge you because of your sexual behaviour or lifestyle.

Assessment: Trained health care providers perform examinations (if necessary). All tests are optional; no examination will take place without your permission.

Treatment/Discharge: Required medications, including birth control, are provided by a health care provider working under a medical directive.

Ask Questions: This will help you understand the services offered, tests carried out and treatments given.
